I ended up accidentally changing some permissions of directories that made OS-X start doing weird things. I probably could have found out online what the permissions should have been and changed them back but I figured it was just as easy to reinstall the operating system and start again. Breaking things and fixing them again is all part of the fun isn't it? So far so good :) - Some of the extensions aren't working and the bookmarks are a bit buggy/weird but other than that it <em>seems</em> more stable. Thanks for the heads up! Have for a long time, but I totally agree about Picasa. I miss it even though I've grown to love iPhoto as well. Interesting that you refer to your machine as "she". ;) All my machines are girls too. LOL. I've had some trouble with FF too. No crashes yet, but I've noticed little things like drop-downs not working.
