Nipperz with attitude: DJ Sara and DJ Ryusei

I may be away from home and away from the blogoshere for a week, but that doesn’t stop me using the power of WordPress’ forward-publishing capabilities to serve up something for the weekend.

As many of you know, I used to lay down the odd beat or two in my younger years… but not this young!

These two little funksters go by the name of DJ Sara and DJ Ryusei. Check out the way they get down.

Watching these two had me beaming from ear to ear. And for the record I was never as good as that! Many thanks to Mr Diggles for finding this one.

Now, what was I doing at that age…? A pretty impressive duo, and they look very happy doing their thing.

Oh, I remember my talent at that age…falling off my bicycle; doesn’t compare really, does it. Great video, Aaron. Loved it.

Johno - Thanks again for Stumbling me with this one. I loved the videos too so had to share. I am massively envious of the huge vinyl collection the background though.

“Nipperz”? I’m guessing that was a feeble attempt at being witty. Using a derogatory racial slur while featuring these kids is not a good look. At all.

DJ Day - You’ve completely got the wrong end of the stick. I apologise if the headline of this article has offended you in any way, but I think this is a cultural misunderstanding. Where I come from (Britain) the term “nipper” is used to describe a small child.

It is not a a derogatory racial slur. Or witty for that matter.

Ahh…in the U.S. “Nip” is basically the “N word” for Asian folks. I guess things don’t always translate too well across the pond.

That cool - An honest misunderstanding :)

I’ve just fixed the videos on this page (which have been broken for some time) so now you should be able to enjoy DJ Sara and DJ Ryusei again.

Have your say
