Don’t you love the British weather?

British flood waters

If you live in the UK you’re probably a bit fed up with the weather this summer. Fortunately I’m not one of those poor souls who are living in 4 foot of river filth with no electricity or clean running water. However, I’m not completely unaffected.

My phone line and subsequent Internet connection are a gonna. In fact there’s so much water in the ground that my entire neighbourhood are without a phone line.

Of course I’m one of the fortunate ones and I can live without the Internet for a few days, but consequently wont be blogging much unless I can creep an article in whilst at work.

Such a shame because I’ve got some fantastic news to share… Oh well, it will have to wait.

I do feel for the thousands who have had to leave their homes. To think the water hasn’t yet peaked!

Why did you leave us without giving the good news!? ;)

I am so glad (touch wood) we have no flooding problems,

While we were on holiday (last month) about 2 miles away loads of people got stuck in a Mac Donalds and Tescos because of a flash flood. No one was hurt but there was damage to the premises and some of the cars stuck in the car parks were write offs.

Yes, wheres the news, that was a real cliff hanger - guarantees we come back :)

Hi David and Tara… my lines of communication are back up and I’ve just posted my cheery news. You’re right Tara, I’ve been modelling my blogging techniques on Neighbours and Eastenders. :D
