Bringing 1920s style to web design

Just over a week ago I wrote an article discussing how web designers are pushing the boundaries of web design. Another great example has come to light.

Polish design firm, Metropolis Media have presented their online design portfolio in the form of a ‘roaring 20s’ theme, with jazz, swing, skyscrapers, airships and pin-up girls.

It’s great to see a design firm present their work in a different way to the usual ultra-clean modern style that we all see so much of. The site is highly interactive, and all the animations and sounds really create a unique vibe to the site.

Go and have a look at Metropolis Media now, you will not be disappointed!

Haha. That’s great. I love the music, the distorted perspective and all the detail (especially the cars). Nice find.

Hi

I can’t seem to get the link to work, maybe the site is down?

Tara – Ah, yes – that’ll be me creating a dodgy link. I’ve fixed it now so please try again.

Hello Aaron. It’s great design and creative!!! Ultra-clean modern style? — Yes. Thank you for article.
