Thank you for taking part, Aaron. I think you had quite a bit of wisdom to impart to us. I especially took to heart what you said about not even <em>allowing</em> yourself to entertain thoughts of "I'm just not good enough." Maybe I'll try that :) I think you are indeed optimistic. You said that there is nothing wrong, in fact it's healthy, to look at others' work and wish you were that good because then you <em>aim</em> to be that good. When I asked the question, it was in terms of feeling down about your own abilities, but I love the way you turned it around! I can’t believe how this meme has grown! I know just what you mean about shelving your social life. ;) I don't have school to worry about, but I'm trying to balance kids/work, and it's tough sometimes. My husband and I haven't been on a "date" since our daughter was born a year ago! But as you said, keeping your eye on the prize brings its rewards eventually.
