I’ve been getting my teeth stuck into Adobe Premiere today, with my latest brief – to produce a spoof film trailer or advertisement. I’m probably going to do a couple of various on this brief – one a more serious advertisement for my iPod flex, with another, more tongue-in-cheek, spoof of the iPod nano ‘colours’ advert. I’m calling it an iPod napo.
Here’s a sneak preview of my work in progress (with sound). Need to add some After Effects colours next.
Hi David. I happened across your site this morning also.
The first and easiest thing I’ve done is replace the music. Then I’ve taken all the original footage and re-edited it as best I can to try and get the cuts, and Napoleons more animated jerks and struts, to occur in time with the music.
It’s a tricky job to get it spot on, and there’s a few bits I might re-edit given time. I also plan to add iPod-esque colour swooshes using After Effects.
